sol-i-tude
noun
1. the state or situation of being alone
Solitude is a hard concept for us to grasp here in America. We are always moving, always taking, we always have places to be, or people to see. Everyone always seems to be stressed, all we really need is solitude. When placed in an unfamiliar situation, we tend to slow down our lives and observe.
While in a state of solitude, we seem to break away from our every day lives, and for once, we see the world for what it really is.
